Juvette is born and bred on the Far South Coast of NSW and her journey into the world of greenery started with a love for plants that bordered on obsession. After completing a Certificate III in Horticulture, she acquired a fountain of plant knowledge and was ready to take on the world one leaf at a time. Armed with her newfound wisdom, she decided to open her own plant shop in Tathra, NSW. Juvette created a plant paradise AKA Juvie’s Jungle, where she educated her customers on how to keep their ferns from failing and their succulents from sulking. With every leaf turned and every seed sown she was on a mission to turn every black thumb into a green one. Through her book, Juvette hopes to sprinkle some light hearted humour into the horticultural world and help even the most inexperienced gardener embrace their passion for plants. Juvette’s book is not just a plant guide, it offers a fresh perspective on plant care that will leave you both informed and amused, all while sharing a few giggles along the way.
